Discover Reptiles & Other Critters gives young and old the chance to explore some of the “unhuggable” animals in our world. Interactive stage shows, live animals, and fun activities teach us to appreciate the important roles these plants and animals play in our ecosystem. From snakes to chameleons, jellyfish to sharks, we’ll explore creepy critters and learn what makes them so cool.

Please join us for the the Texas Herpetological Society's annual fall meeting which also coinciding with the Dallas Fort Worth Herpetological Society's monthly meeting on October 16, 2010 in the Lone Star Auditorium at the University of Texas at Arlington. Topics will cover several aspects pertaining to turtles and tortoises including: natural history, ecology, conservation and advances in chelonian herpetoculture.

A social icebreaker/mixer and keynote address will be held for registered participants on October 15 from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Dallas Zoo.
